Lanyards for hospitals and healthcare
In a hospital the ID badge is needed for the whole shift: for ward doors, systems and medicine cabinets. The lanyard has to be comfortable for 12 hours and safe — if it catches on a bed or equipment, or an agitated patient grabs it, it must release rather than tighten around the neck.
That is why the builder on this page starts with a safety breakaway at the neck plus a detachable buckle, so the card can be tapped on a reader without taking the lanyard off. Strap colours help patients tell doctors, nurses, paramedics and support staff apart, which many facilities use as a uniform system.

01Can the lanyards be cleaned?+
Polyester webbing with sublimation print withstands wiping and washing, and the print does not rub off. Agree the cleaning routine with your infection-control team — for large orders it is worth planning spare lanyards.
02Which lanyard colours for healthcare staff?+
There is no single mandatory scheme — each facility sets its own. Choose contrasting colours per group (doctors, nurses, paramedics, support staff), describe them in the message and we will prepare the versions.
03Can a hospital order on invoice?+
Yes, we issue a VAT invoice. Add the invoice details and any purchase order number to the message with your order.
04Is the builder price final?+
